I've seen one or two $5 books on ODBC at the 75% off book store. Been
a while since I've seen them there, but it's not something that I really
look for so I may just filter them out.
What are you looking to do exactly? ODBC is an API to database.
The Language that you use to access the database via ODBC is
really more important than ODBC itself.
Are you looking to use a linux client and linux sql server or
windows for one or the other or what exactly? I've done quite
a bit of client / server programming using mysql, ms-sql, oracle
and Visual Basic, perl, php, rexx, etc. If you tell me what
your trying to do exactly, I might be able to help explain it
a bit more.
