I have client intending on employing PXES to recycle thier old PCs.
Our plan is a to use an MS terminal server to keep everyone happy and
comfy ...etc,etc. However, all the clients will be running a PXES image
or
RedHat itself on a small disk with rdesktop in an auto-login users .xinitrc
file.
Of course all the f-keys and ctrl+alt+bkspc will be disabled.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] FYI: linux Thin-Client
Might be of interest....
http://pxes.sourceforge.net/
This is a pretty slick thin client for linux.
I'm using this right now. I had to boot from a floppy
( my network doesn't do PCEX and PCEX doesn't support
RPL ) but it was almost totally disk-less.
The thin-client uses tftp to get the boot image ( or it
reads the boot image from a floppy ) and uses XDMCP to
login to a remote linux box. It also does RemoteDesktop
( Linux Terminal Services Client ) and VNC.
Anyway... I think it's pretty slick.
