Howdy,
I use Mandrake 9 for most of my Linux machines and I would like to be
able to play real streams on a couple of them. I looked on all three
Mandrake CDs and Real is not there. I am downloading a Peguin Liberation
Front config file now, but I never feel as safe about installing from
there. How did you go about installing RealPlayer? I see at least two
options. One is the alpha version of RealPlayer8 for Linux that Real.com
has. It says it is designed for a 2.2 kernel, but it might work. The
other option is the Crossover plugin route, which cost money. Assuming
your installation works, which did you choose?
Thanks,
Ralph
