[NTLUG:Discuss] XMMS not playing MP3's?

I downloaded an MP3 from a web site that's a joke...an impersonator
impersonating Paul Harvey selling bongs.  When I attempt to play it with
XMMS, nothing happens.  I click on the play button in XMMS and it pulls
up a window to select a file.  I click on the file, the box disappears
and nothing else happens.  If I click on the play button again, the file
select box comes back up.  What's going on?

I seem to remember you guys talking about some problem with MP3's
before.  Will XMMS not play MP3's any more?
