[NTLUG:Discuss] Help with sendmail - cannot send after address change

Hello,

I need some help resolving a sendmail issue. I have a domain
mydomain.com and several e-mails run from it. Using sendmail 8.12.3.
In my virtusertable I changed the following entry from:

me at mydomain.com		me at localhost

to

zme at mydomain.com	me at localhost

I do not want to modify my local login account just to accomodate a
change to the e-mail address.

>From outside my network, the change works great. However, when I use
PINE in a local login session and try to send a message from "me",
the sendmail server complains as shown below. It appears that sendmail
wants to validate that me at mydomain.com is a valid address (which it is
not any more). I haven't found a way to tell PINE it's changed either.
