Netscape 6.x and newer use the same directory (user) as Mozilla so they
share bookmarks, address book, cache, etc. Netscape 4.x does not.
However, Mozilla and Netscape do not share plugin or system directories.
I'm running Netscape 7.0 and I'm not sure which Mozilla. For the
plugins I've dropped the Mozilla plugins directory and replaced that
with a link to the Netscape plugins dir. Now when I install a plugin to
one I've got the other covered. So far this has worked.
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins -> /usr/local/netscape/plugins
/usr/lib/netscape/plugins -> /usr/local/netscape/plugins
This is a Mandrake 8.2 install with Netscape 7.0 from Netscape's tarball.
