Or try Ctrl-Alt-Esc. If mapped on your system, it will bring up an xkill
cursor (skull & crossbones). Position the cursor over the window you
want to kill and click. If not mapped on you system, try bringing up a
terminal window and typing 'xkill'. 'man xkill' for more information on
this X window utility.
