Try using the online nmap scanner I suggested earlier
and compare with the results you get from behind the
gateway....I think the results should be the same. If
you do see the same ports opened from the online nmap
scan as the one performed locally then you'll know for
certain what is being offered to the external network
and that the local nmap scan is accurate.
