[NTLUG:Discuss] Kernel compile ...DONE

After I did some searching with google, I finally found what modules 
needed to be used to enable the USB mouse.  Everything else seamed to work 
from the start.  When I compiled the first time (with the correct USB 
modules) the mouse would not work.  I think I have traced that back to me 
not doing a depmod -a after the compile.  My fault:-)

Everyone on NTLUG gave me some good hints to look for: 
e.g. "look at /proc/bus/usb/ and make sure the everything looks good"
