We use it for embedded graphics systems in our flight simulators
at work.  These systems are diskless PC's that boot over the network.

It seems to work out pretty well for that sort of application.

It's very lightweight - and I believe it's optimised for Pentium-type
systems.  I find it a little annoying on my development systems because
it lacks so many of the utilities I'm used to having on a SuSE Pro
installation...but Linux-is-Linux-is-Linux - so we develop under SuSE
and deliver on Gentoo.
