What is the dirty little secret to get Mozilla Mail working. I just
installed Mozilla 1.0 on a Mandrake 8.0 system. I was logged on in root
and installed the .tar.gz file from Mozilla. Mozilla auto launched and
the mail icon was shown and some mail dialogs were available under
Edit->Preferences. Note that I found no place to enter the in or out
mail servers.

But when I launch Mozilla as a user, that is not as part of the install
process, I do not get any way to access mail. There is no mail icon nor
are there any mail or news related dialog boxes available under
Edit->Preferences.
