  You have to set the mail record, called an MX record in the DNS server
that serves the domain to point to your machine.  Your machine needs a
fixed IP address on the internet.

  You then must configure your machine to accept mail for that domain. The
configuration files are in /etc/mail for sendmail.  You must install the
IMAP package to get pop3 and imap for users to pick up mail.  YOu wil have
to set up a user account for each person that receives mail to that box.

  You need to read the documentation in /usr/share/doc.
