Well, I installed my SWB DSL modem directly onto a Linux box (I don't
own a copy of windoze) and when it flat out didn't work (it failed it's
internal self-test), I called them to replace it - and they had no problem
with the fact I was running Linux.

However - the replacement modem works perfectly - I don't see any
framing problems.

Hmmm - mine is a 5260.
