[NTLUG:Discuss] linux newbie manual

Yeah, it is kind of a work in progress. I think i'll create a index page
linking to all the different sections, post it on prodirections.com site,
then start asking people about putting it on ntlug's site, after it's
finished.
I have networking section half way done, and have covered ipchains too. But
since they updated inetd to xinetd, i need to redo some of my materials.
After I finish the networking and security sections, I'll definately create
an official index and table of contents. If I was smarter, i would have
just used the built-in index and table of contents creators in StarOffice as
I created the materials.
If the ~/directory and ../directory issues are true, then I'll update those
accordingly.
I've learned to deal with any type of criticism, so please accept my apology
if I sounded defensive earlier. I'm sorry.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in helping me finish this project, please
let me know! the link currently is at:
http://www.prodirections.com/resume/handsonlinux.doc - i promise to
convert it to other formats tomorrow night, i just have to study for some
tests I have tomorrow morning :

Thanks,
-Micky
