Ok. I haven't done ISDN in a while. Didn't know that Netgear made and
external, ISDN Modem. Sure hope it is a Netgear modem and not a
sucky-motorolla-bitsurfer-pro. Those were crap. If anyone wants a free
bitsurfer pro, let me know.
You can use Linux to do everything that you want. The dial on demand
stuff was touchy when I looked at it. It's been several years since I did
any type of modem stuff.
I think that your fastest route to success with an ISDN line is a RT328
Router. Someone was selling one in the dfw.forsale group a while back
for $50. There are a bunch on Ebay for $30.
Those were pretty slick as far as ISDN went.
Dial on Demand, Port Forwarding, Multi Channel, NAT, DHCP server, etc.
Pretty slick for $30.
