Catching up on email...

Hold the control key down, then press mouse button 2 and hold it down.  On the
menu, goto down to the second section and highlight the "Do Full Reset"
option, release the mouse button.  Hit there return key for your prompt.

There's some options with Control-button1 too, though I never use them. 
Control-button3 allows you to switch fonts on the fly which I find incredibly
useful, though you may have to define the resources to specify the fonts (or
those resources may have bad defaults you'll need to override).
