[NTLUG:Discuss] Hello

Thanks everyone for the responses! Ok, now on to the @home problem. It is a
weird one.

For some reason, when I download large amounts of data, or
do just about anything on my linux box it works for about 5 minutes,
then I totally lose my connection. I have been running linux for a while
now, and never had this problem until I loaded Redhat 7.1. I am sure I
have my DNS and Gateway and all of the settings correct. My NIC is a
Linksys 10/100 + 56k modem. I am using the module redhat suggests for
it. Like I said, I have never had this problem before, and Linux always
ran the net faster than windows until now. When I lose the connection, I
actually have to reset the modem. Any ideas on this one?
