If you're serious about picking up experience over collecting a paycheck,
there might a number of volunteer opportunities here in the D/FW area. These
days, what organization doesn't need IT help? Dallas SPCA, Ft Worth Opera,
American Heart Association, Salvation Army, and lots of other organizations
of all sizes might need technical help but you'll never know unless you give
them a call. Many use Linux. All need volunteers! Just something to consider
if y'all are serious about this.

I really hate to answer this inquiry for an opportunity for experience
with another of the same type of inquiry, but I am kinda getting
desperate here.

I have 4 years of experience with linux on my computer (and quite a bit
of that time I spent with linux as the only OS used.) I received my
bachelor's degreee from Angelo State University. Math/CS major. I
desperately need industry experience, so I propose that I as well may
work for free just to get the experience. If the computer you
administrating is in downtown FW, West Tarrant, or Parker County, and
the administration is rare, (Or perhaps something in the DFW vicinity
where the administration can be done remotely most of the time), perhaps
we could work out a deal.

Or, if you happen to need a part time or full time system administrator,
programmer, or whatever suits your boat, perhaps we could make a deal.
My requirements are not high. I need the experience. I promise to stay
working for you at least 6 months or up to one year or perhaps more if I
get a full time job within the first few months.

Apologies since this may not be place to post this request for a job. I
sent an email to the jobs-admin list manager a few days ago about the
right place to post a job request or resume but he or she hasnt
responded. So I have attached my resume as a unix text doc. (If you
want it in TeX or Postscript email me).

Thanks for your time.
