I was just reading Linus's autobiography: "Just for Fun" and it reminded
me that September 17th 1991 was the date of the very first Linux release
(0.01).
Hence, Linux's tenth birthday is just a little under two months away.
IMHO, NTLUG shouldn't let this date go by without some kind of 'event'.
Sept 17th is (unfortunately) a Monday. However, we could argue that
if Linus sent that email before 8am Helsinki-time then it would still
have been the 16th in Dallas...so we could legitimately do something
on Sunday. (OK, it's pretty unlikely he was awake at 8am - but 2am is
possible...work with me here guys!)
Any ideas for something to do?
