Today's groaner.....and I get paid for this!

Customer: Yes, hello?  Our inventory department users can't seem to log into
the server.  Everybody else is ok.

Support: Let's do a few tests.  What is your IP address. (customer
identifies ip address and some ping tests are performed)  Mr. Customer, your
computer is no longer connected to the network.  You may want to try
checking your cable connection or even the network hub that is in the
closet.

Customer:  (after a few minutes on hold)  Ok.  Well, the hub wasn't plugged
in. Someone had unplugged it and plugged in a radio.

Moral of today's story (sung to Veggie Tales ending)
And so what we have learned applies to our life today, put network hardware
behind lock-and-key!
The dollars that you save up front won't be worth it when dim-witts unplug
the hub for their tunes.
