Yep - the 7.0 version had 1500 applications and the 7.1 has pushed that
up to 1800. It's *ALL* of Linux - every application, game, anything.
This might result in you having a TON of crap on your hard drive - but
7 Gigs out of a modern PC's hard drive isn't all that much...so who cares?
Every chunk of code I've ever OpenSourced seems to make it's way onto
SuSE's distro - so they seem to take *EVERYTHING*...but then I do get email
from the person on their distro team who is responsible for my applications
and he asks intelligent questions about how things should be installed
and what is the right version to grab - so they aren't *blindly* putting
things out on the distro.
The Debian guy talks to me occasionally - and the Mandrake guy who is
supposed to look after my stuff is a *moron*...Caldera talked briefly,
made a bunch of rude *demands* and never called back. I've never heard
from RedHat, Slackware, or any of the others.
