Due to an error in the test... I got the additional question
right that I needed to pass!! So...I'm now LCA #400
(that's a nice even number).
Just as an fyi... the question in error involved an scenario
where a user wanted to install a NIC as eth0. He wanted
to add the driver to they system so it would install as
a module at boot up. The problem was that the "correct
answer" put the device on eth1 not eth0... so I answered
"none of the above" (actually I'm not sure if that
answer was even there). They are working with Prometric
to get the question off of their test... apparently
it has been removed from most of the versions of the
test already.
Some stats:
7004 GNU SAIR exams have been taken
1359 LCP certificates have been issued (Linux Certified Professional)
400 LCA certificates have been issued (Linux Certified Administrator)
I'm looking at getting my LCI (Linux Certified Instructor).
There are only 59 in the world today. That was why I went
through all of this to begin with.
Regards,
Chris
