do you mean that I should have a line like

0.0.0.0         65.10.71.129    0.0.0.0         UG    0      0        0 eth0

instead of

0.0.0.0         65.10.71.194    0.0.0.0         UG    0      0        0 eth0

(see the different of 129 and 194, 194 is assigned ip, 129 is assigned gw)

ok, I guess this is my problem/question.
how do I know (or check) if the ipforward is enabled?

I would check that your GATEWAY setting
