[NTLUG:Discuss] Replacing Netware servers with linux..but keeping NDS

Has anyone had any experience or success stories in replacing Netware 4x servers with Linux boxes?  Maybe switching over to Samba and adding NDS for the authentication and user managment.  I realize that MARS exists out there, but it emulates 3.12 and is an End of Life product.
