[NTLUG:Discuss] Athlon incompatibilities?

I've been running an original Athlon for a year now under Linux, Win
2000, and Win 98SE. The only software incompatibility that I have
encountered is with Intel's VTune profiler. VTune checks that it is
running on an Intel processor and refuses to run if not. So I keep a
PIII system around just in case I need to do some profiling with
VTune, an otherwise excellent profiler.
