[NTLUG:Discuss] Tulip Config

I know this is a question that has been asked and answered about 1000
times on the list but I've never kept the responses before:)

I bought a Linksys LNE10/100TX ethernet card (tulip - ugh) and can't get
the nutty thing setup)#$*(#:(

I can see it with a depmod the "alias eth1 tulip" module is added to
conf.modules correctly but no options line.  When I run insmod tulip I
get a device busy, even with added "options option=11 debug=1".  A
hardware review (drake tool) finds the card as well as a dump of
/proc/pci so I know its there and visable to the system.

This is in an Athlon system running Mandrake 7.1 with a 3Com 905 NIC
installed as eth0.

Anyone want to pass the secret along?:)  IIRC some folks had to add an
address or IRQ setting to get it to work?
