Oh I didn't know that Jovan Phillyaw was behind it.  That's very funny - if you
ever watched his internet show, he was extremely blind to anything outside of
the "Microsoft Way".  When forced to confront linux once, his attitude was
extreme prejudice.  He obviously just didn't get it (The Revolution...) and so
what the open source community did with his cue cat is just hillarious, and well
deserved.

Fort Worth-based Radio Shack, that great new partner of the Microsoft
Network, is also aggressively linked with Cue Cat, and gives away free
Cue Cats in their nationwide retail stores.  It's notable that the outfit
behind Cue Cat, a company called Digital Convergence, is headquartered
here in Dallas.  Their leadership includes Jovan Phillyaw, a fellow who
is, or was, the host of a late-night TV show on the Internet a few years
ago.
