What do you mean disappeared? You cannot see them in fdisk?
Well, you should be able to add it back with an 'n' in fdsik. It will show
you what sectors are available.
Give me a little more information, and maybe we can help you get back to where
you need to be.
- What OS are you fdisk'ing in?
- What are you trying to do?
- Are you trying to do a new install?

I partitioned my hard drive, and, like an idiot, formatted it in DOS. Well, of course, Linux didn't like those partitions, so I needed to get rid of them and make new ones. Easy, huh? So I used f-disk to delete the partitions. Now those 2.5 gigs on the partitions has disappeared along with the deleted partitions. Anything questions? I've no idea how to correct what I've done, if any of you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
