I submitted this to Linux Today earlier, and I don't know if they have,
or will, pick it up. Just in case anyone missed it:
CNET's site has another of their "analyses/ commentaries" by the Gartner
Group today. This time, it's on Micro$oft security issues.
The article was astounding to me -- a Micro$oft supporter like Gartner,
saying what they did. One example:
"For Microsoft, the top priority is getting products out the door, and
the marketing
department can diffuse any security problems once a product has
shipped.
.....
"Security is important to Microsoft but only to the extent that it does
not inhibit the adoption
of its products. Thus, Gartner expects that such headlines will
continue to appear."
The article is entitled ""Commentary: Microsoft lacks motivation to
change security". It's at:

Best to all.
