I've seen several folks suggest a remote power switch.
Personally, I'd much rather have a serial console on the
box. And I've found a board for PC hardware that emulates an
MDA video adapter, providing a serial keyboard/display. The
device is called a PC-Weasel, and it gives PC's a serial
console. All my PC server boxes will have them shortly (I've
already got two, and the remaining two I need are on order.)

There is even a demo system so you can play around with a
running weasel. If you purchase one, let them know I sent you..
- when i inquired how that would work with a system that supports file
- caching, like linux, i got 'well, it works fine with sun machines
- running solaris'.
No, it doesn't, they just don't know any better.. (I'd
want to get away from _that_ ISP, if I were you..)
