It did seem to come across that way (to me), but the bad thing about
email is lack of inflection and facial expressions that help to convey
meaning.  I was mistaken and do apologize.

gods of linux?  No...  I have done some perl stuff for several companies
and was webmaster/sysadmin/MIS Manager/programmer/whipping boy for
FlashNet for a few years when they first started, and I had several of
my scripts of my scrips at the webman account.  I have also done quite a
bit of work for others around the metroplex and the US.  I have been
around for about 8 years total, as far as online goes...
