Thanks for the link! I upgraded to 5.1.19 and things seem to be running
OK now.
BTW, the stock source on the RedHat 5.2 CD is 5.1.2, but the 5.1.19
patch was
looking for 5.1.4. I actually had to apply:
aic7xxx-5.1.2-to-5.1.3.patch
http://ring.omp.ad.jp/archives/linux/RedHat/aic/5.1.3
and
aic7xxx-5.1.3-to-5.1.4.patch
http://ring.omp.ad.jp/archives/linux/RedHat/aic/5.1.4
before I could apply
aic7xxx-5.1.19-2.0.36.patch
