[NTLUG:Discuss] CONCLUSION:firewall won't talk to cable modem

Hey Gang,,
Yesterday Kip and I figured out the problem. It turns out that the RCA 
cable modem is madly in love with one ethernet card only. It wouldn't talk 
to my PCMCIA laptop nic or the nic in the firewall. It would only talk to 
the nic in his PC. So we mearly pulled that card and put it in the 
firewall. The short of it is, his cable modem is lame.
