This is a followup to my tales of woe with my HP 6020 CD-writer.

If you recall, it was locking up my machine whenever I used cdrecord

Well, on a suggestion from a co-worker, I tried the obsolete 'cdwrite'
command - which doesn't seem to have been maintained for ages and is
marked as obsolete on just about every site that archives it.

Anyway - waddya know - it WORKS!!
