Will,
>Even though you start with don't talk about this anymore... you end with "feel free to comment... so I will...
Alright already, sheesh. I'll admit to a bit of ranting.
>First of all, excuse me for trying to help someone with a computer problem...
Great.
>If I am gonna be criticized and degraded for responding to emails asking for information and/or help, then I won't answer another
post to this list...
I don't remember addressing any specific comments to you?
>Seems a shame that some Linux users can be so unhelpful and so unfriendly and give a bad opinion of a whole group just by their
attitude.
My comment was addressing a seeming desire on the part of some to obsess...
>and I am NOT embarrassed by checking NTLUG messages using windows at work... I'd rather check them at work while the topics are
current than have to read thru a hundred emails when I get home...
Nor am I, as I stated in the previous message, I also use NT/Exchange at work.
>and just for your information... 1. you don't "catch" this virus from strangers... you catch it from people you know... people that
have you on their address book...
Noted, however; If you are not using pgp/gpg to send/receive signed attachments then you are asking for trouble.
>Seems like maybe we should use this incident in order to promote Linux instead of turning people against us by saying rude things
about Windows users...
Seems that everyone LOVES windows these days :)
