If you have been listening to the last couple of days of email,
I think you'll see that people *ARE* interested - but don't necessarily
see that their freedom has yet been infringed...and also don't
believe that this kind of demonstration is the 'Right' solution.

Thus far, the MPAA appear to be within their rights to test the
law on this matter - and I support their right to do that.

I don't happen to think they'll win - and I certainly *HOPE*
they don't.  I'd rather the law was brought into sharp
focus so we know concretely that we can do the kinds of thing
that DeCSS did - or that we need to fight to get a bad law
repealed.

However, the first step in that process is this court case.

I certainly wouldn't want to pursuade them to drop the
case only to have some other company screw over some
other innocent in the months to come.  Let's get the
court action - and all the appeals over and done with
and THEN decide what to do about it.
