Alright, if you want to put it that way, fine. I'll agree with that. But in
that case, if you think it's /bad/ then to be consistent you have think /all/
dvd players are bad. Because /all/ dvd players can be used to copy dvd's in that
fasion. DeCSS is the same technology DVD players use to play dvd's.
But, if that is your argument, then you're argument is irrelevant. The
argument that is really at the forefront here is that the MPAA is calling
DeCSS a tool for pirating DVD's in a fashion /different/ from what all other
DVD players are capable of doing and it's flat out not true. /That/ is what
the MPAA is talking about, and that is what we are talking about. Your
position is something completely different. Why clutter the debate?
