Well if memory serves, the ISA bus is 8Mhz and the PCI is 33+Mhz (I
think mine is 66 if I remember right, or am I remembering something

I bought mine for $17 (at a 1st Sat sale, it's also a RJ45/BNC card,
10Mb only). It's Realtek 8029 chipset based. Is it worth that to you?
Unless you're starved for PCI slots, I don't see how you could go wrong
with something like that. At worst, you would have eliminated that
potential cause.
