Since SuSE installs are rpm-based, and their installation tool (YAST)
does a pretty good job of keeping track of dependencies, I don't see any
reason to go whole hog...you'll spend more time trying to take care of
dependencies on your own as you try to remove rpm's than just letting
YAST take care of it up front.

Plus, you can save off your configuration so you can recreate it down
the road if you like it.
