snip--------------
I have used ATEN CS-104 switches on several systems. No problems with
any video mode I have wanted to use. It has both keyboard switching and
front panel switching. Handles serial and PS/2 pointing devices. It
costs about $200.00 but it is an active (it makes all the PCs think they
have an active KVM) switch. The less expensive ones are passive and you
tend to loose the mouse on some systems.
