I'm surprised how many people on the list aren't familiar with this feature
of Win32. (OK, I realize this is a Linux list; I just figured that people
would have to use Windoze at work, for games, etc.)
Hyperterminal is the relatively cheap (as in features, free as in price)
terminal emulator program that's included with Windows 95 and NT (and I
assume 98). It's the moral equivalent of ProComm or Telix (or Kermit) from
the DOS days.
