[NTLUG:Discuss] anyone know licq and/or QT?

I am looking for some help on my upgrade from licq 0.61 -> 0.71
it requires QT2
I have qt1.44 for my KDE install
I followed the instructions(I think) in all the readme's and such
for a concurrent install of qt1.44 & qt2.0.2 (the one I have,
compiled from tarball)
but I still got problems

The licq list has been trying to help but I am still stuck so I am
looking around

I run
MDK    6.1(upgrade from 5.3)
2.2.13
QT 1.44 & 2.0.2????
