I agree, I think wht isps charge for the "dedicated accounts" is obscene
as well. I also have worked at an ISP in the past, and he's right. There's
pleny of people who don't log in more than 10minute a week that can make
up the difference for those who are connected constantly.

Even if you only charge $40 for dedicated acces with some IP's I'd still
pay it, but $80 a month at most places is far too much.

<bitterness> I would love get ADSL, but I'm not close enough to a CO. I
live in a huge subdevelopment in the midlle of southern Arlington, but
still not close enough to a CO. </bitterness>
