Well, if this is the consensus - then I'll stop pushing the idea to
NTLUG. However, I still think it should happen on LDD - so I may just
'go it alone' and do it away from NTLUG if it's seen as a distraction.

So, anyone who is interested in working/helping/contributing to a
24 hour game project on LDD, please email me privately on:

...and we'll talk. If more than a handful are interested, I'll set
up a mailing list.

I really think it would be a mistake not to tie this in to the
main NTLUG event though...you'll need the publicity and crowd draw.
