i like the change and have wanted this method for a long time.  i
personally get sick of receiving two exact emails when someone replies to
one of my posts.

the only problems i see are if something happens to MailMan or the server,
it may take a while for one to see that their post didn't make it to those
who needed help (or those who have the answers ;-).  many times i've
received a reply to my personal email address a few hours before i get the
other copy that had to go through the list.

either way, i don't think it will hinder our communication significantly.
if we're wrong, then we can go back to the ole status quo of yesterday.
