This is a current opening that I would like the group to consider. It is
a wonderful opportunity and has amazing perks that I would love to

One of behalf of a true world-leader in the travel industry, based in
Irving, TX, DISYS is seeking a Red Hat Enterprise Linux [RHEL] Systems
Engineer.
The successful candidate will be able to delve into the nuts-and-bolts
of Red Hat [Release 4.0 or 5.0] and perform low-level engineering,
root-cause analysis and technical problem solving. In addition, the
individual MUST have experience with Oracle 10g and Oracle Real
Application Cluster [RAC]. The candidate does NOT need to be an Oracle
DBA, but they MUST be able to administer Oracle Clusters via the
command-line using Cluster Ready Service (CRS) commands/syntax.
Requirements
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux [RHEL], Release 4.0 or 5.0
* Oracle RDBMS 10g
* Oracle RDBMS Real Application Cluster [RAC] experience
* Ability to tune/configure Oracle DB kernel modules
* Command Line expertise with Oracle RDBMS. e.g. Cluster Ready Service
(CRS) commands and syntax. Note: candidates who can ONLY manage Oracle
DB clusters through a GUI will not be considered. Command Line expertise
is required.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position. This position is ONLY
