And, based on a suggestion from another list, I <br>have opened up the mixer and made sure that none of the channels had their <br>volume turned way down or were muted. Everything looked okay there.<br><br>Now, I'm going to ask a stupid question. The speakers themselves shouldn't <br>matter a hill of beans, should they? I mean, once the OS gets the sound to <br>the sound card, that's all that should matter, right?
