<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial"> I'm having problems getting an HP floppy tape drive working with ftape on a RedHat 7.1 stock kernel.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Ftape loads successfully using modprobe ftape but it remains unused.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">When I unload it using modprobe -r ftape it gives this error:</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">ftape: Device or resourse buisy</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">This is the same error I got when doing the same thing with parport_pc when PnP OS was turned on.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Anyone know if something in BIOS needs to be set to let this tape drive work on the floppy controler?</FONT>
