I just installed SuSE 7.1 for intel and have run
into a problem. I have made all of the appropriate entries in
/etc/hosts.allow, /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/services as well as a killall -HUP
inetd and cannot get telnet or swat to accept connections. Openssh is
installed by default but I have turned it off. any suggestions? One more
thing. Anyone have any experience with an Extendnet4000? They won't give out
the root password because of proprietary software but the tech support guy
hinted that there is a way in.
