I am running Netscape.
I ran 'strace /usr/local/netscape/netscape > filename 2>&' which
produced a file.
Grep on that file for zone, Zone, or ZONE returned nothing.
Any ideas?

i had a netscape time problem like that once, it had to do with creating
a
link to correct timezone directories.

i solved it by redirecting 'strace /path/to/netscape' to a file, then
grepped the file for 'zone'. if this is the same problem that
you're
having, then the result will tell you where netscape is incorrectly
looking for non-existent timezone files. create a symlink to
the correct
directory (/usr/share/zoneinfo/* ? ) and netscape will reflect the
correct
timezone information.

good luck!
